Pros

Chessex is a staple in the table top gaming industry. This vinyl mat is substantially better than any of the laminated mats. It lays perfectly flat and doesn’t have any ripples or imperfections.

The *weeps for it’s condition. Buy this mat. You won't be disappointed. It's literally perfect.

The map is easily deformed, and not easy un-deformed. The mat has deep creases that can't be taken out and have damaged the mat surface. The creases prevent dice from rolling smoothly.

Only thing i can think to do is frame it or glue it to a table. They say that pressing with heavy objects will remove the folds. Can't fold it, must use water-based pens. I let the marker sit on it for all of 2 minutes before trying to wipe it off. It... Read More

It will be gorgeous regarding amazon shipping method insert middle finger here

I had to let mine sit our on a table for a while to get rid all of the shipping crinkles but eventually it was fine

It arrived in great condition and without being flattened as some other reviews have stated

Competitiveness

I got this chessex matt for christmas and i cannot stress enough how superior it is to the competition

I used to have one of the smaller cheaper laminated mats

But compared to my original from the 90s its thinner weaker and more prone to damagestaining then the original by a distinct margin
