It would have been better if the pieces were weighted or if it included extra queens but for the price i and very happy with the set
Better quality chess sets are available but i dont think ive seen one available near this price 100 canadian dollars
There are many expensive 300 usd plus sets out there of wonderful quality

Company who shipped it out of quebec put it in a larger box without packing so that the chess set moved around during shipping

The packaging the board the pieces all have a very strong odour to them

However the chess pieces tend to get covered in the green fuzzy stuff that hold the pieces inside the chess board while in storage which is a little annoying

Also they smell kind of like a glue due to manufacturing so you might want to leave these out of the case for a day or two so it loses its smell

It feels like you have a bought a quality set until you open it up and all the pretty pieces are held inside in a cheap plastic with a fake velvet finish

Just a notice to buyers that you might not want to consider this to be a proper travel set and instead opt to use it as a decorative and occasional use set where it is permanently set up somewhere
