The sturdy wooden construction is designed for hours of play and mastery. It has tight latch that kept it closed well on the plane. I like the wooden pieces and that the board folds up for storage.

Cons

Pieces are plastic, not wooden as advertised. When opened the board is wooden, the pieces are plastic and there are no instructions.

To have this be useful you need to rotate it 90 degrees and swap the numbers and letters. Missing instructions. Also not as pictured. The checker board pattern was put onto the wood uneven.

The board is made of lightweight balsa wood. I'm afraid of punching a hole through it if i put any kind of weight on it.

Disappointed in amazon on the terrible packing. Would not recommend anyone purchase it. Amazon allows it to be returned for free - just print the label and drop it off for ups.
