They are definitely “peacock blue’ with a sheen that’s very reminiscent of the iridescent turquoise feathers of a peacock or hummingbird. They are absolutely gorgeous! They are quite expensive but they worth each penny.

The sand set is matte and not shiny (as in the description), however the yellow set is very shiny.

It's just plain velvet curtains unlined. Tried to steam them and still couldn't get rid of the terrible snag/crease in material.
