The directions on the box say to preheat the stone in the oven however further research was needed as we did not know how long to preheat the stone or at what temperature because the directions on the box did not specify

Remember to wash only with water and to preheat the oven with the stone inside otherwise itll crack if you put it in

We do just put it in the oven when we turn on the heat so as the oven warms up then stone warms up too so there is no chance of cracking it via thermal shock

The stone seem to work better if you crank the oven up to around 500f no matter what the directions say

The biggest mistake people make is not placing the stone in the oven to allow it to heat as the oven is preheating and then placing your pizzastrombolipretzelsstrudelbiscuits even chicken nuggets if you want after it is preheated
