Quality

Basically this thing is just a total workhorse and i’m super happy with the purchase

But the new kettle with the old element worked so now i have a spare if i need it

It worked perfectly until about a week ago when it stopped connecting well with the heating element and the blue tab wouldnt stay down

I tried the old kettle with the new heating element no luck

After researching fancy models that cost 23 times as much i decided to order another one of these

Easy to clean and very fast to bring water to a boil

I called chefschoice and they sent me a replacement filter no charge even for shipping even after all these years

Packaging/appearance

Its not the best plan because if the pin gets out of whack the kettle doesnt work

They all have the same little pin that fits into the base
