Pros
It certainly does the job, but don't put it in the dishwasher or it will end up with what appears to be coal dust all over it. Works well and looks good out on my shelf.
Skip the fancy colors and logo and hype and inflated price. It is very durable. Easy to clean. Great price and durability.
Cons
The mallet sheds its aluminum coating after hitting water. Shortly after it is blackened and unusable. Put it in the dishwasher. Returned for refund.

Yes they are aluminum so dishwasher chemicals and such will eat them
