Pros
Hard boiled eggs come out perfect. No off colored yolk and easy to peel. Buy a negg boiled egg peeler to go with it.
This egg cooker performs well but needs work on the timer slider. Has a slider to set cooking time - - very easy to adjust.
Cons
The chef's choice oster egg cooker has a 43% failure rate. This is the worst appliance ever. Don't waste your money on this overpriced chef's choice; buy the oster.
This thing has a shallow pan full of boiling water-the lid just drops into place-no locking mechanism. Water overflows onto the countertop.
It takes the egg cooker longer to get to the boil and then the timer shuts off shortly thereafter. I keep setting the timer for less and hardboiled eggs still go too long. The notification alert/beeper is extremely faint.

This is built well works great and liver the soft boiled egg results consistent everytime
The results are consistent no need to pierce eggs before cooking

All six were perfect with beautiful yellow yolks
Also it looks pretty nice on the counter with its stainless steel cover

Have tried other brands and like this egg cooker the best
Haven’t compared to others that cost less but this is a solid device
There’s no other egg maker on amazon that looks as handsome as this one in this price range
