This colander is large and seems sturdy but i have one complaint about it the large product sticker that was stuck to the center of the inside of the colander was very hard to remove

It left several patches of sticky residue that were nearly impossible to remove

I rubbed with a cloth and olive oil which eventually loosened the sticky gunk but that gunk migrated into the small holes of the colander making them very difficult to get out

We did our research and americas test kitchen recommends a 22 rsvp international strainer so we almost bought that but then we found this one for only 7 and we decided wed give it a try

There are tons of small holes so things drain instantly

Yet the holes are small enough that i can even press shredded cucumber etc against it to get the water out without the pieces going through

The feet are placed wide enough that they dont get in the hole of our sinks draindisposal which is great
