Pros

It's easier to keep my knives sharpened with this little gadget than with other knife sharpeners. The center is a real sharpening stone. This is the sharpener i grew up with. It takes a while but they get sharpened.

These are so quick and easy for anyone to use. Safe for youngsters and older folks with weak or shakey hands. This simple device replaces an identical one i had since college. Small and easy to store.

Cons

When rolling it or pulling the knife through, it scratches the side of the knife blade, defacing it. The unsightly scratches are permanent. The rubber bands come off easily while rotating the sharpener.

Don't bother with this; keep your money. As another rater said, you get what you pay for. Don't buy this item.
