Reusing an old bottle instead of buying a new one should be better
Only issue i found is the suction nozzle within the sports cap was loose upon first use and has since fallen through into the bottle

Its not an integral piece but just seems silly for it to not be in place deem it now void

However it has always been carefully handwashed and when screwing it closed we are always careful not to tighten it using the flip cap for leverage as sure this would bend it out of alignment and cause it to leak
