I had the tension bolt slip across the groves while it was holding a light in the air and ended up stripping the bolt trying to get it back out

If you plan on using these youll probably want to cut new threads and get a better bolt in there

As it locks to a pole or maybe a thin stand the only thing grabbing that stand or pole is the bracket itself and what is securing it is the bolt thats screwing into it

Only gave 4 stars because its scratches light bar and does not have protectors on the tension screw

The only downfall is that the product boxes get trashed probably during shipping because they are such a heavy item inside a fairly thin product box
