It's not free shipping, but it's still cheaper than amazon's current price. The price on amazon is better than some other sources.
It must be used with detergent. It comes with a scoop, and you only need half a scoop a load. Mix a tablespoon of this with about 4 ounces of very hot water in a pump dispenser. This has little packets you just drop in the wash.

Cons
Bought for my cloth diapers for water softener and booster and didn't help at all. It irritates delicate areas of the body (especially for a female) the booster has a hole and is leaking.

Works just as well as calgon likely will last longer and more economical
