Negative the instructions are not very clear which is a bit of a nuisance for building as getting the screws alligned is a real painpositives very sturdy and well built i have had back surgery and suffer with a bad back with the lumbar support i found it extremely comfortable and could easily sit for a long period of time

I would recommend to anybody looking for a new chair if you have the patience to build
