Pros
Infrared burner grates are a game changer. It eliminates flare up. Great for searing steaks. Best way to maintain the grates is to us a baking spray like pam.
Taped screw to screwdriver. Cleaning process is fairly easy with the included tool, some soaking if you prefer and some care. Instructions where easy to follow.
Great value for the money. I hope it lasts a really long time. To say the least i was impressed. Just needed a bigger one.
Cons
After completion, the grill construction feels a bit cheaply made. Not well for fatty steak / ribs and heavy seasoning like korean bbq ribs.
Save your money. It's cheap and flares up a lot. I am very averse to consumer products that can easily injure the user.
Cleaning the grates is a chore. The infrared grill grates plug up very easily and cause issues with burners going out.

In the purchase they offered which did not arrive with the shipment

Assembly wasnt too bad though some bolts came out of place in the package and i had to put them back together
Competitiveness
I have owned other much more expensive infrared grills and feel like this product cooks just a well as the expensive grills i owned
I used to have a less expensive char griller and loved it
Got a similar one on woot for199 and i couldnt be more pleased
It’s better than some of the under500 options but it is exactly priced for what it is

This is not a real infrared thing but… it’s like a wholegrill diffuser so it is very consistent heat across the surface

The two screws for the handle on the lid are awkward as they have a tendency to fall inside the doubleskinned lid but i used some tape to fasten the screws to the screwdriver wrap it around both and that did the trick
