Pros

Only issue is on one of them i had to recalibrate the thermostat. Other than that, it cooks great. It just takes patience to cook on it!

Allowing it to heat up is really important. Runs on the little propane tanks, and gets really really hot. I'm about to assemble it now and i'm sure it will be fine.

Cons

This grill never reaches a hot internal temp. Once you open and close the lid, it is not capable of maintaining any temp above 200 degrees. Not hot enough to sear the meat.

New heating element is $30 + $50 shipping. Now that we finally got to the root of the problem, it is too late to send back!

It's a much worse design than the simple enameled grate on my old grill. The only way to use the grill without tripping my breaker is to put the knob in 3.

After light use it's common for the handle control insert to malfunction. The wire from the controller keeps shorting and blowing apart. Could be the controls shorted out.
