Pros
Nothing beats a charcoal grill, but this is a great substitute. This one is really special with the hoops it makes you jump through. Even barbecue chicken comes out nice and juicy with the grill marks you're looking for.
Never runs out of propane or briquette.
Cons
This grill never reaches a hot internal temp. Takes a long time to cook a steak. Once you open and close the lid, it is not capable of maintaining any temp above 200 degrees.
The infrared is amazing but the grill is poorly crafted. The outer edges are sharp and scratch anything they contact while trying to clean the grate. Do yourself a favor and buy a weber electric.
It gets to 500 to preheat. To get the sear on the other side you have to leave the meat on too long and it dries out. Not hot enough to sear.
After light use it's common for the handle control insert to malfunction and overheat your wiring. Could be the controls shorted out. There isn't much room between the tool handle and the control panel, which makes it difficult to actually hang a tool... Read More
