Pros

The harness padding is thick, and generous in width too. The tank on your back is comfortable especially when walking around an acre property spraying liquid around.

The chapin 62000 tree/turf 4-gallon pro is a wonderful feature if your like me and have limited storage space in your gardening area. Love the tank capacity at 4 gallons. Buying another one dedicated to * control.

Both work as advertised. Use it for roundup application. The only downside is the weight of the product that you are using.

The pump handle is ambidextrous which is convenient for lefties. The piston pump is a bit less initial cost, lasts way longer, develops higher operating psi's, and is simple to maintain. The pump requires less pumping action to keep the pressure up.

The sprayer is well built and easy to assemble. Quality is top shelf. It seems very wellbuilt and extremely rugged.

Cons

Barely sprayed. Nylon nozzle material to soft to hold good connection to brass wand. What gives -- two or three nozzles?

Backpack interferes with the pumping of the lever. Chinese steel between the holes is not robust enough to keep ftom bending. This bending causes the handle to slip while pumping, requiring more effort to get pressured up.

It tends to wiggle its way out when you are rotating the the handle from storage position to pumping position
