These led bulbs are very dim. Colors are only apparent under voltage. Even more bothersome was the mix of voltages in my packet.

Used these with some button batteries to light up my sons doc ock costume and was satisfied with the result

To work with the 5v dc power of the bulb socket i snipped one lead and soldered on a small 100 ohm resistor
