Chantal classic tea kettle is my favorite kettle i have ever owned. It heats the water fast as the bottom is wide. The whistle is loud and reminds me of a steam train whistle, which i dearly love.

The glacier blue is gorgeous and looks nice in our kitchen. It truly has it all -- functionality and aesthetics. Well made and heavy. Durable and easy to use.

Too bad a once great product is now *. I'm thankful to amazon and their customer service for allowing me to return it and at least get the partial refund.

It's pretty but unuseful and poorly engineered. For the outrageous price, it is very dangerous to use. And they are designed to be virtually un-repairable.

The lid and body are a very flimsy stainless steel. There is a seam along the bottom where it meets the side. Uses thinner rubber seal.
