Regular pipe wrench needs readjusted every few turns not this thing

In the pipewrench configuration this product does grab onto bare pipe although not quite as reliably and solidly as a pure monkey wrench

Also maybe it’s because on a monkey wrench a true pipe wrench the jaws intentionally misalign in order to grab even harder in whichever direction you are turning

These are characteristics i expect from channellock which in my experience with two pairs of their channellock 440 12inch tongue and groove plier s which are so popular they’re just called “channellocks” is a highquality brand

This wrench is what they used to build the eiffel tower and hoover dam and it’s what noah is said to have used to build his ark although i can’t seem to hunt down the chapter and verse right now
