The wall wart plugs into an ac outlet the other end plugs into the pwr plug on the ir4000
The existing rg6 cable is connected to the to ir coax adapter plug on the ir4000

The dvr in the house uses an infrared ir remote control

Its hdmi cable goes to the tv above the dvr and the rfout on the dvr goes to an rg6 cable which goes down and around and underground through plastic conduit to the shop about 125 feet away

This rg6 cable has been feeding the tv in the shop for several years but i wanted to control the dvr in the house from the shop so i could select channels or recorded shows pause a show or any of the other functions a dvr has

The instruction sheet that came with the unit was fairly accurate but the units were not labeled the same as the instructions

Ir4101 sender this unit detects an infrared signal from its ir detector and injects it into the rg6 cable coming from the dvr
