The signal boost now allows for crystal clear reception for someone like me who live in a rural area with no close by stations. Long range antenna and 1 degree makes a difference. We feel comfortable and confident with our television watching options.... Read More
The cm7778hd is a great pre amplifier, made very well and easy to install. Educate your self with the process and options. Unit is a little pricy but it worked well for me.
Reorder a second amplify plus after returning the first. I just wish they would give a discount for buying more than one (lol).
Cons
Water intrusion over time corrodes the insides. Channel master will not warranty the expensive amp either.

Many of the 32 channels had problems with pixilation

5 times what i am paying for power tools etc
If it holds up i will drop the dish locals and save 12 dollars a month
Unit is a little pricy but it worked well for me

As far as weather proofing the package came with 7 useless small rubber rings instead of the needed coax rubber boots
Received item with missing part after close inspection noticed that the unit had been opened

I’m consistently picking up channels from up to 80 miles away and this preamplifier fixed a few closer stations that were intermittently cutting out

The bottom line you can save 20 by buying a cheaper amp with more noise and only one amplification option
