Although i was concerned about an initial overseas delivery estimate over a month away they showed up well protected in a bubble mailer after only 11 days

Of that only one inch is due to the unavoidable length of the adapter itself

Only thing just snug them up when installing do not over tighten them

They apparently are shipped from china so be prepared for a little wait

What i notice is that you should not over torque the bulb into the adapter since that may cause the center terminal of the bulb to deform the plastic travel stop at the bottom of the adapter and short out to the side terminal of the adapter
