There is only one bolt on the side to hold the 2x4 in place

I have tried to replace the bolt with a 10mm thumb screw a 10mm wing nut screw or even a 10mm eye bolt that is easier to manipulate without tools but trying to find one that is long enough in the us and even on the internet is impossible
