Yoyito reels are expensive but you are buying the best of the best. Glassy slick spool rim makes them great casters. All fishermen should try at least once. If your reel fails on you this is a great backup.

    If you are using heavy braid and fishing for big fish i would advise against the lanyard as it could present a danger to you

    Virtually none of the makers send these fitted with a wrist lanyard because of liability issues

    The price point is hardly over the cost of a cheap filler size spool of line so its a very cheap investment to try
