I have nhoticed that to get consistent readings the device needs to be in the same place if you are taking a measurement and the watch is held level with your heart rather than level with your waiste then the readings will change more significantly i am unaware from the instructions whether the watch should be held up high or kept lower down for readings but can say that when i had my last dr appointment that my heart rate was fine as was bp etc and that when taking a me

Given the cost i wasnt too sure about the quality of the heart rate but it seems to deliver consistent measurements ie if you measure a number of times in a row it doesnt shoot up and down the figures are always similar enough to show that the variations are probably just down to body fluctuations
