The interface is superfast and snappy. The voice recognition is super speedy.
Cons
Tried a refurbished fire cube to save $20, not worth it. Amazon just repackaged it and called it refurbished. Just get the latest firetv cube.
I have a 300mbs fiber connection and it freezes up or hiccups too much, and video quality is meh. I am mysteriously hung up on or disconnected each time. Get a fire stick or find another streaming service.
It's not worth the aggravation. Don't risk getting a dud. Very frustrating and upsetting.

The fire cube is faster and easier to use for example having to make sure phone and tv are both on the same wifi network every time you want to check out something on tv

The remote integrates well basically replacing tv remotes in most cases

I returned the fire tv cube i had for a little under a year because alexa would stop talking to you and you had to unplug it and plug it back in this one so far has only stopped talking once and seems to be working well… so far i would like more time with it to see if a refurbished fire tv cube will meet my expectations and always work and not muted …however sometimes it mute the music i started playing on my sonos surround sound system and i have to play it from a different alexa app or device and sometimes go through the sonos app itself
