I remember reading on a british website that talks about universal receptacle and they mentioned wonpro saying that all the ce or ccc certification are not valid because there arent those standards for receptacles and that universal plugs are not safe as the contact surface for current flowvis small and bla bla bla

However when i took it apart i noticed that there isnt any complicated looking electronics only a round blue slab that looks like a ceramic capacitor that is soldered across the live and neutral wire

Just the surge protector doesnt look reliable and there is no switch

If were overseas i use a plug adapter for this surge protector but thats it

Once inserted there is no wiggle to the plug which is a strong safety plus for this device
