Pros

This one is the most convenient since it plugs into the wall and has an ac plug on it. Downstairs is cool and ac only runs 12 hours instead of 24.

Initializing unit into daytime or 24 hour mode is simple thanks to previous reviewer instructions and videos. The output light goes off, but power continues to run. Not a problem for me, since i just leave it plugged in.

Cons

The timer is very inaccurate. The documentation/instructions are not very intuitive. It has this silly daylight sensor which i have to put electrical tape over.

It's a possibility that you got a dud. No luck. If lasted 4 months very disappointing.
