Then i noticed a sticker that said something to the effect of be sure to install the driver for this device before connecting it to your computer or youll fry the firewire port

Apparently i fried the thing before i ever got to use it and i remained frustrated by my inability to do what seemingly any 10yearold can do get sound into a mac

Micport pro lets me do this whereas straight up usb microphones do not

I had the opportunity to contact customer support recently and they respond the way you would want customer support to respond

I called ce and they said that for a nominal fee they could cut out the monitoring but the change would be permanent
