The other end did fit my shop vac vacuum however it was a little annoying that it doesnt fit the shop vac hose you have to remove the shop vac hose and insert it directly into the body of the vacuum

I did need to buy the expanded adapter set and for that reason i would suggest that folks just buy this other product offering where you can buy the expanded adapters and get the length of hose you want and avoid duplication when you wind up buying the expanded adapter set httpssmile
