Because the suction does not stick to the cupholder i used the adhesive mount that came with it

I stuck the adhesive mount on the cupholder and then simply stuck the gooseneck holder using its suction

The last car mount i owned had a long stem that was slotted and would not stay in any position even driving on the expressway caused it to migrate until it either fell off the windshield or came to rest on the dashboard
