With that said i ordered it in the hope that it would fit my pixel 2xl with an otterbox case for which it is absolutely not rated

Well it a l m o s t does that is i can remove the little rubber pull tab then force it around the phone and then kind of reinstall the pull tab

But the problem is that unless you are very careful when removing it from the phone you risk scratching the screen

I created a hack to work temporarily but contacted davoice to see what it would cost to replace it which is silly considering the whole thing was pretty inexpensive

The phone retention is spring loaded and easily fits to many different phones
