It is very hard to aim it properly and to also make sure the repeater antenna doesn’t cause feedback to the main antenna

Obviously it was not able to go on the roof so it is likely not functioning at the best of its ability but at least he can use his phone now

Got as a christmas gift for my parents who live in a cabin without it they are stuck on a couch trying to get one bar

I installed the unit with the whip antenna and it was inconsistent

I asked phonetone what could be done and they suggested i order the indoor omnidirectional antenna which arrived in a couple days and we now get 3 to 4 bars consistently and i am able to take and make calls and get all my text messages

You can spend significantly more for a cell booster but not sure you will get back that return on investment based on how this one performs
