I used it for an epson 2150 and using two of the long arms and one of the short arms turned around backwards i was able to get pretty close to the center of gravity on the projector positioned just a tiny bit forward of perfect balance

One thing that wasnt obvious to me before i received it was that the ceiling mounting plate has elongated holes that will allow the mount to swivel a small amount which is very helpful in getting the final alignment with the screen just right
