Pros

The 100mm objective gives super light in the dark. Have seen jupiter along with its moons - io, europa, ganemede and callisto.

The covers for the objective and eyepiece are rudimentary. No funky image shifting when focusing but tiny focus adjustments are necessary when zooming. I have other scopes this one has the clearest view of all.

Competitiveness

He said he owns quite a few celestron products

What i didnt expect was the extremely highquality image it produced over its entire range and its highquality construction

This is a heavy scope a photography tripod absolutely will not support the weight so you must invest in a competition shooting tripod

I ended up attaching a seethrough red dot telescope finder on it
