It goes most the way around my twin mattress. It has a five inch hem on both pillowcases and top sheet that is rear to find. My only complaint is that they dont seem to offer seperate pillowcases.

This sheet set sheds constantly and our bed room and ourselves were covered by brown lint. The color faded with the first washing -- detergent only; no bleach. After the second wash they shrunk so much that they no longer fit.
