It's been perfect for answering her questions and preparing her for what to expect. It is supportive and encouraging, and has provided my daughter with reassurance that what she is experiencing is totally normal and positive.

This book fails to do what it pretends to. This book needs to be advertised as such, not grouped with the general pre-teen books for girls.

But just be ready for very clinical terms to be used diagrams and getting into things such as labia mounds and clitoris

Also the book starts very progressive which was done in a very non aggressive suggestive forceful way which i appreciated but i hoped that this would be a book free of the hot topic gender issues
