This type of remote works perfectly with hampton bay ceiling fans. Just be sure to set the dip switches inside the battery compartment to match the settings in the old remote or receiving unit inside the fan. The dimmer switches works and everything o... Read More

Better than replacing the fan. The only complaint we have is that the unit is really overpriced and does not come in factory packaging.

Cons

The instructions say (tungsten only) in the dimmer function details. I don't know if this refers to a tungsten filament bulb or a different model of remote which does have the dimmer function. It defeats the purpose of having a remote.
