When i looked at the images i noticed a large piece of dust on the image which turned out to be on the sensor

Anyway so i used a blower and was able to get rid of the large dust but then i did a white wall shot to check the sensor and i was shocked that there was a lot of dust on the sensor

What was weird is most of the dust looked like it was around the perimeter of the sensor

I used a sensor dust brush and that got rid of some of the dust but i eventually had to send the camera to the canon service center to get it cleaned off

The case is very close around the base of the lens mount so i am thinking that maybe there was dust attracted around the lens mount and when i unmounted the lens which i did once or twice and always with the camera pointed downward some dust would get onto the sensor

Mind you i think this case does provide some protection for the body so that part is ok
