Pros
This one seems durable enough and useful so far, if i’m careful about calibration and the moveable pointer. It's well made and should last. Definitely really good for its price tho, recommend.
Cons
After 1 use the red pointer didn't move much. Worked for about a month and then would not budge from 0. I was perplexed to discover that it quit working at all almost one year after i purchased it.
Buyers be wary. It feels as if my money was wasted. Get something better and safer for you and your family.

It’s sturdy and i like the illuminated dial with the black background which makes it easy to read
This one arrived in perfect shape and is very nice quality
This is a basic kitchen item but all others i looked at were really inferior quality some broken in the package
Use a pair of pliers and a oven mitt to adjust the nut on the bottom until it lines up perfectly with the boil test line
Price
Definitely really good for its price tho recommend

It is accurate but it is so heavy you have to balance part of it on the side of the pan

It most defiantly does not show thru the glass when the oven door is closed and the light is off

Helps especially when cooking roasts etc but it hangs below the shelf and is hard to read because you have to bend way down to read the degrees

You will need to keep putting it in the water and adjusting because it will cool down when you take it out of the water

I make sure the dial isn’t touching the cooking grate just like instructed

If the meat isn’t dense enough like filet mignon the weight of the thermometer may not be supported so i rest the dial of the thermometer on a small rock placed on the grate to prop it up if necessary

This thermometer isn’t perfect but without it i would have overcooked many of the meals
