I used those on my custom lamp i like it a lot very very bright the reason why i give it 4 stars is 1 of 5 burned within almost a year

I thought the light bulbs were not very good as they did not light up like my halogen bulbs

They do not dim and it said so on the package

These do actually dim with a low setting but its pretty much too dim to be useful

I knew this would be the case going in but just to reiterate other reviews youll basically only be able to use this bulb on the high setting

The low setting is so low that you cant even tell the bulb is on unless you stick your head under the microwave and look directly at it

Also this was one of the few i found claiming to not only be ul certified but with a tapered design near the pins so that it would fit in my microwaves socket

The under cabinet lights had been installed by the previous owner of the house
