I just began catskinners book and so far am very impressed
Read this book you wont be disappointed
All in all it was refreshing to find an author that was doing something different with the urban fantasy genre
If you get the audio version the narrator does a really great job with the voices because catskinner sounds incredibly creepy

The setting is great the creatures fresh and the action fast and furious
Packaging/appearance
I liked the story concept the mystery of catskinner and was not put off by the other odd characters and imagery
Half way through i did have a who are these people moment when the main villain is taken out of the picture
Competitiveness
Fantastic take on the whole secret world under everyones nose genre
I was expecting a massive fight against a formidable opponent

The story is laced with exotic creatures living among us a running series of sub plots and in a way follows more of a spy novel theme than one might expect with set ups and double crosses

That makes for a rather specialized audience but if youre in the right frame of mind you may find catskinners book to be an extraordinary first novel
