The door& roof hinge is a good idea,as it means you can do a daily clean out without having to take the lid fully off each time. I like that it can be locked and it is sturdy when needing to be moved.

This one is big. Plenty big enough for my british shorthair. Overall this has a nice deep tray and the cats seem to like using it, which is always a bonus!

The whole thing is made of flimsy thin plastic. Everything gets thinner and less solid but litter boxes? It is poorly designed and constructed. Because of its size it needs to be structurally sound but it's just not.
