If you dont clean the litter and change it regularly it will soon absorb the smell and become less effective3

I have no idea if these are any good as the cat litter tray was damaged so returned it

I think some people think that these filters will be miracle workers but if you use poor litter and don’t empty regularly enough nothing is going to prevent smells from seeping out

The original filter for my catit hooded tray blew away while i was washing it out and to be honest i hadn’t changed it in a year because i didn’t realise there were replacement filters available

They fit perfectly and were easy to use but in all honesty just clean your cat trays more regularly and buy a plug in air freshener

I now have to check egypt’s litter to know when it needs cleaning as i honestly forget her litter is there
