I am very pleased with the product which was reletively inexpensive

Anyway about the product i like how it has one main button to reduce complexity

The instructions arent terrible but theyre not good a poster of 10 languages which have almost nothing to do with the installation

The instructions are not very good as to how to set it but the unit works fine once you figure it out

This was an inexpensive item that i feel was well worth the price

The basics is all i wanted in a unit and this was a great price

In my initial opinion the shop price was in line with my expectations for something that would only serve as a speedodometer

If price is not an option i would get the wireless cateye device to avoid all the wires

Considering the distance the shipping charge was reasonable

I wasnt expecting this order to come from europe but that explains the long shipping time

Packaging/appearance

Packaging is small but relatively sturdy so the couple times that i dropped the package didnt bother the device a bit

Ive had my cateye velo 5 for a little over a year800 miles on my recumbent which i seldom ride

Have used it now for a few months and have had absulutely no problems

Thank you cateye for not stooping to the idiotic packaging practices of your competitors

I had a cateye exactly like this for many years and it finally died so i searched online for another one
