I tried some steel toed boots when caterpillar stopped making the soft toe alaska model, the steel toes were very uncomfortable.

Durable but not comfortable to wear for a whole day.

Finally had to retire them as they began seperating at the heel and a split formed in the leather near where the toe met the sole.
