Also i left a pretty decently sized well say mediumish spider in there for about 10 mins and she skillfully managed to get through the same area and i thought my bf had let her go

I took it apart cleaned it out and cut a small circlular piece of window screen to put over the piece that comes in it

Also smaller spider seem to get sucked past the little grate at the back so then i just set the whole unit outside so it can crawl out if it survived the suck
