Pros

It is a nice game for those who sit down because they want to play not just entertain a couple of guests, since it is quite extensive to learn. But if you keep an open mind it's a lot of fun. Loved the added twists.

The quality of the gameset itself (the board, objects, cards and tokens) is neet and tidy. The gameboard is thick and sturdy, wooden pieces and sturdy cards. Good cross between catan and euro rails.

We love playing risk and parcheesi so this game was a good fit. I was apprehensive during the first few games because of the new rules. Seems we are each deploying different strategies, not sure who will win yet.

Cons

Of all my games, this one just collects dust. This game is s frustrating and there are so many things going on. Do yourself a favor and stick with settlers of catan.
